For convenience FEVA is seamlessly divided into the following three programs which share a common database :- VisiSage the solid model based semi- and automatic mesh generator. VisiSage generates tetrahedral meshes automatically. VisiSage also generates surface meshes for shell analysis. A semi-automatic hex mesh generator produces high quality elements. The meshes generated by Visisage contains solid model geometric properties that simplifies access to volumes,surfaces and edges during the subsequent model creation stage. SageView the pre- and post- processor for the F.E. solvers. Modeling and review is completed here. Superconvergent Adaptive General Elements (SAGE) program. This program comes in two versions a linear version and a nonlinear version. The loading controls for the nonlinear version are automatic and depend on the user specified error tolerances. The program performs multi-physics analysis with strong coupling between structural mechanics, heat transfer and Fluid flow elements. Adaptive Mesh Refinement. The CAD centric design of FEVA results in it being ideally placed for automatic/semi automatic mesh refinement using a hybrid combination of h and p adaptive methods. These methods may be applied in both the linear and nonlinear regime. We are pleased to announce the release of version 1.7 of FEVA.
